Plus mileage ($.40 per mile) to venues more than 25 miles away.
For programs that require overnight travel, my fee is $50 per
night.
These are base prices.
I will sometimes negotiate with a worthy organization to
fit my fee into their budget. I also like to ask for an
organizational T-shirt from the schools, nature centers, etc.,
where I perform.
It will be worn in front of audience and at other performances!
We can negotiate substantial discounts when several libraries
and/or schools in an area collaborate to schedule performances
during one or two days.
In some cases when a school or library has little or no program
budget, I can reduce or wave the program fee in return for help
marketing the CD and children’s books at the venue.

For groups up to 100 in a quiet venue, I do not use a PA system.
For larger groups and more noisy venues, I provide a PA
system.
In my work with the Rankin County Environmental Learning Lab and
with the Earth Lab at Gray Center, I work in the woods with
student and adult groups teaching compass and GPS skills,
natural systems, water quality, etc.
